Yancey had tried to convince them to call upon their kingdom's army to handle this and the two fools thought they would cheaply get out by throwing his life away while reducing some of the bandits throughout their region. He deposited the contract money and bounty money into his guild account. He had to purchase eight new large chests to hold it all. And his status within the adventurers guild was now the highest anyone had ever reached, Gold Champion. As it entitled him to a wide range of things such as exemption to guild fees and taxes of any kind. Meals throughout the guild halls free, free legal aid, if he should ever need it. Complete access to the guilds library was once upon a time very high upon his wish list, but now that he has the Tome of Summoning, so it dropped down very low on his wishing list. But the list of what he gained with this guild title went on and on. The two most important things were the exemption for guild fees, taxes and the ability to reach areas that had been closed off as too dangerous for any single person below champion status or any groups below hero status. It also provided access to the adventurer guilds fast messenger service, that anything written at one guildhall would show up at wherever you wanted the message to be sent to the closest guild hall to that location then passed on. Yancey took the time to have his new guild status token made before he exited the Steinberg guild hall with his also free magical guild quest, job board.

It would show any and all quests the guilds posted for its members anywhere. So he wouldn’t have to always run to a guild hall, just to find out there wasn’t any work he’d like to take on. Yancey stopped halfway to the guild hall exit door, then turned around and returned to the clerks desk, still covered in blood and gore and had the clerk write up a report as he spoke it to whomever the Kingdom of Gluterberg’s champion is of what he learned as he cleared the Steinburg towns region of dark magic using bandits. If they need further details they should get with both guild hall guild masters. He then requested a Kingdom Gluterburg Map, which was free, and with his blood covered finger touching each location Diamen knew of the other Dark Magic using bandits had encampments. And the tactic he had used in being able to clear out so many in a single day. He left out his being able to fly as it could prove to be a good secret for sometime when he needs to get out of a bad situation. He then summoned an air pixie and had it dry the blood fingerprints upon the kingdom map, then he wiped his hand as clean as he could and signed it, Yancey Freeman and pressed his signet into the blob of wax used to hold and seal the packet closed.
